Dan Maloney is currently the Assistant Company Secretary of the GTA Board.
Dan is an accomplished Corporate Affairs professional with over 15 years’ experience in policy development, strategic planning, media direction, and high-level government, industry, and stakeholder engagement.
Dan is currently the General Manager Policy Strategy Engagement for the GTA | Gaming Technologies Association, the national peak representative body for electronic gaming (poker) machine manufacturers, and gaming software developers.
Prior to his current role at the GTA, Dan served in the NSW Minns Labor Government as a Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Communications to the NSW Minister for Better Regulation and Fair Trading, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology, Minister for Building, and Minister for Corrections.
Dan also has significant experience working in Director-level positions across policy, industry, and stakeholder engagement & media roles at the NSW Minerals Council, Landcom, UrbanGrowth NSW, the NSW Opposition, and the NSW Public Service.
